Thank you for visiting the official page for the City of South Pittsburg.  Our city has long been considered “The tidiest town in Tennessee”.  We are so glad that you have come to visit our website, now we hope that you will come visit us.

Have you ever tasted good cornbread right out of the stove and a cast iron skillet?  Chances are that the cast iron skillet was manufactured here in South Pittsburg by Lodge Manufacturing.  Or could it be that the stove was made here also, by U.S. Stove Company? Would you have sipped on a soda right out of a vending machine, maybe Royal Remanufacturing serviced that vending machine? Add in a good fireworks show by one of our three fireworks distributors and you can say that outside of all of our wonderful downtown shops that you have experienced a little bit of South Pittsburg; what some of us call a little piece of heaven.

We have a diverse work force that actively engages in continuous learning, performance improvement and team work.  We imagine a well-planned community that promotes the interest of all its citizens. We take great pride in working for this community, which values its quality of life, preserved by its citizen-oriented government, committed to economic development, quality education and its natural resources.
