Garbage Pickup

Collection

The City provides weekly garbage collection for residents. The City contracts with K&K Waste Disposal. Residents wil need to follow the regulations below and place the carts in the proper location to have their carts serviced.

Regulations

• The garbage carts are the property of K&K Waste Disposal. The garbage carts are assigned to each address that has a single family residence or larger on it. if a resident moves, they must leave the cart at the residence.
• Garbage carts must be placed at the street by 7:00am and be removed from the street by the end of the day.
• Garbage carts must be placed at the edge of the street, facing the street (wheels need to be towards the house).
• Garbage carts must be spaced atleast 4ft apart, and 4ft away from any objects (mail boxes, signs, power poles, cars, brush, etc).
• The weekly pickup is for household garbage only. No brush or yard waste.
• All garbage must be placed inside the K&K Waste Disposal container for pickup. K&K Waste Disposal will not pickup garbage outside of the provided container
• One additional garbage cart per household is allowed for a one-time fee of $100. The extra garbage cart is property of K&K Waste Disposal. For more information or an extra cart please contact K&K Waste Disposal at (423)-877-4002
